Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following proper verification procedures.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Provide patient care using age-appropriate methods.
- Communicate effectively with various departments and personnel.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and maintain quality control.
- Follow radiation protection principles and ALARA standards.
- Offer procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Maintain competency in assigned areas and ensure cleanliness and readiness of equipment and exam rooms.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT certification required upon hire.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT required within 180 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
