Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Radiology Technologist to join Corewell Health on a full-time basis. As part of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation while adhering to radiation protection principles.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following proper verification procedures.
- Acquire and document accurate patient history.
- Monitor patients during procedures to maintain safety.
- Use age-appropriate methods for radiographic procedures.
- Ensure timely relay of STAT requests to radiologists.
- Effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
- Proficiently operate diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients.
- Contribute to department operations and compliance.
- Assist in training new hires/students.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and stocking standards.
- Stay competent in all assigned radiology areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT Upon Hire required.
- CRT-BLS (BLS) - AHA Upon Hire required.
