Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a full-time Radiology Technologist working evenings, you will play a crucial role in performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in general radiology. You will be responsible for ensuring the best possible images for interpretation, while following radiation protection principles and regulations. Additionally, you will provide exceptional patient care in line with our philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams with precision and efficiency.
- Acquire accurate patient history and ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to quality control standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members, medical staff, and patients.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Registered with the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
