Job Description: Radiology Technologist Lead

We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist Lead to join our team at Corewell Health. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in coordinating and providing resources for our general radiology services, ensuring the efficient and safe flow of patients and acquisition of optimal images.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily work schedules of staff and monitor patient schedule for efficient patient flow.
• Demonstrate leadership in achieving site and system objectives.
• Provide effective communication and collaboration with medical staff, management, and support staff.
• Ensure quality assurance and control on all equipment.
• Perform radiographic procedures, following ALARA Standards and providing patient education.
• Train new staff and assist in staff evaluations and selection process.
• Maintain competency in various radiology procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
• 3-5 years of clinical staff technologist experience preferred.
• Certified by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Basic Life Support Certification required.
