Job Description
We are seeking a talented Radiology Technologist Lead to join Corewell Health's team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing coordination and acting as a resource for staff involved in general radiology services. Your duties will include leading daily work schedules, monitoring patient schedules, ensuring optimal patient flow, and acquiring high-quality images.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily work schedules and monitor patient flow.
- Assist leadership in achieving site and system objectives.
- Demonstrate effective leadership and conflict resolution skills.
- Ensure effective communication within departments.
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using age-appropriate methods.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Train new staff and students.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and rooms are clean.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 3-5 years' clinical staff technologist experience preferred.
- Certification by ARRT required.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
Working Conditions
