Job Description
We are hiring a Radiology Technologist Lead to join our team at Corewell Health. As the Lead Technologist, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading staff in general radiology services, ensuring timely completion of exams and adherence to imaging standards. Additionally, you will play a key role in ensuring patient and family-centered care at all times.
Responsibilities
- Lead and monitor daily work schedules to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal image acquisition.
- Provide effective communication and collaboration with medical staff, management, and support teams.
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure quality assurance on equipment.
- Train new staff and assist in staff evaluations and interview processes.
Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 3-5 years of clinical staff technologist experience preferred.
- Certification by the ARRT and Basic Life Support Certification required.
- Ability to lift, manipulate, and position patients as needed.
