First Response Rail Service, Inc., a leader in rail asset management and logistics, is seeking a skilled Railcar Repair Technician to join our team in Boyertown, Pennsylvania. As a Railcar Technician, you will play a critical role in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing railcars to ensure operational efficiency.

Job Overview

• Inspect railcars daily to identify maintenance requirements.
• Perform necessary repairs, including welding, fabrication, and part change-outs.
• Follow provided scope of work for program tasks.
• Travel as needed to perform on-site repairs.

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined with experience in MIG and stick welding.
• Proficient in operating an oxygen/acetylene torch.
• Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and walk long distances.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional weekend and holiday work.
