General Description:

The Regional Career Development Coordinator, under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, plays a vital role in coordinating day-to-day activities, supporting instructional operations, and assisting with job development and placement for the PACT Programs. This position involves statewide representation of HBI and support for program initiatives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities between program partners, community organizations, and contractors.
  • Facilitate positive relationships with funders and program partners.
  • Provide employability skills training, develop job opportunities, and maintain program documentation.
  • Work with the team to fulfill placement needs and support student progress.
  • Conduct outreach, recruitment, and program orientations.
  • Ensure compliance with program and contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate with national counterparts to enhance opportunities for graduates.
  • Represent HBI at events and contribute to program development.

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s degree in a human services or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of one year in career development or counseling.

Preferred: Excellent communication skills, budget oversight experience, proficiency in MS Office, supervisory skills, knowledge of construction trades, and experience in job placement for hard-to-serve individuals.
