Registered Behavior Therapist

Job Description

Project Brilliance is seeking a Registered Behavior Therapist to join our dedicated team. As an ABA therapy company, we are committed to providing high-quality, ethical, and innovative therapy to children on the autism spectrum and other developmental disabilities. The role involves working one-on-one with children, helping them achieve their goals and acquire new skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one therapy to clients and facilitate peer play and social groups.
• Help children develop communication, social interaction, problem-solving, and adaptive living skills.
• Implement proper teaching, behavior change, and data collection procedures.
• Collaborate with BCBA's and provide feedback on child's progress.
• Ensure children's safety during activities and routines.
• Assist with daily care routines such as diaper changes and potty training.
• Work Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or related field required.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification preferred.
• Prior experience with ABA therapy is beneficial, but not mandatory as training is provided.
• Ability to engage and play with young children aged 2-6 in different settings.
• Experience in ABA therapy is advantageous.
