Job Description
We are currently seeking Registered Nurses for full-time contract positions in Evansville, IN with CareerStaff Unlimited. As a Registered Nurse in Long-term Acute Care (LTAC), you will be responsible for caring for patients who require extended hospital stays. Job Features

- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 (inclusive of tax advantage program for qualifying candidates)
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent Registered Nurse RN experience
- Registered Nurse degree from an accredited institution and active RN license required
- Current CPR/BLS certification, Physical, and TB/PPD required
- Verifiable work history and professional references required
Responsibilities
- Receive admission and transfers to the unit
- Conduct initial and on-going systematic patient assessment
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation
- Interpret assessments/diagnostic data and take necessary actions
- Promote continuous quality improvement
- Respond to life-saving situations according to nursing standards
- Act as a patient advocate, provide education and support to patients and families
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and public relations
