Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Career Systems Development Corporation. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing medical care and treatment to students. You may also step in as the acting Health and Wellness Director when required. Your responsibilities will include conducting health evaluations, administering medication, coordinating medical appointments, managing chronic care plans, and providing medical accommodations to students.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health evaluations for new students.
• Administer medication and monitor students' well-being.
• Coordinate medical appointments and manage chronic care plans.
• Provide medical accommodations to students as needed.
• Support the Healthy Eating Active Lifestyles (HEALS) committee and activities.
• Attend required staff training sessions.
• Act as the Co-Disability Coordinator.
• Assist with scheduling and follow-up of medical appointments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate with a State RN license.
• Preferred: One year of nursing experience, Job Corps experience desirable.
• Sound nursing techniques and ability to relate effectively to students.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work autonomously.
• CPR certification required.
