Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Adult Family Care program at Open Sky Community Services. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide essential healthcare services to individuals over the age of 16, elders, and adults with disabilities who cannot live alone safely. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, providing nursing support, and ensuring the well-being of the individuals in our care. This is a full-time position based in Whitinsville, MA, with regular daytime hours and no on-call duties.
Responsibilities
- Visit families in their homes to provide nursing support and care.
- Maintain communication with medical service providers and perform necessary medical tasks.
- Document patient progress and updates in the electronic healthcare record system.
- Offer medical training and education to caregivers, individuals served, and colleagues as needed.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently.
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to reliable transportation.
- Compliance with MassHealth guidelines for annual physical and TB screenings.
Compensation
$33 per hour
