Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Ambulatory Children's Specialty Center - Infusion team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care to patients of varying health conditions through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care and ensure continuity of care during and after transitions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide education on post-care activities.
- May take on leadership responsibilities as operational needs require.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
- Pediatric Infusion experience and chemotherapy certification preferred.
- Proficiency in central line access/care and peripheral IV placement.
- More than one year of nursing experience.
