Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology team at The University of Vermont Medical Center. As a staff nurse in the EP Lab, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients undergoing EP procedures. Your role involves assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient progress. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, provide direct patient care, and offer patient education for post-discharge care. There is also an opportunity for leadership as you may take charge as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing EP procedures.
- Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Offer patient education for post-discharge care.
- Possibility to take charge based on operational needs.
Requirements
- Valid RN license.
- Prior experience in Cardiology and/or EP Lab preferred.
- Strong assessment, planning, and implementation skills.
