Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process and evidence-based practice to assess and develop patient care plans.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in the assigned clinical specialty, ensuring age-appropriate and culturally sensitive care.
- Identify opportunities to enhance patient experience, streamline care processes, and lower costs while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to problem solve and improve patient care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) or commitment to obtain within five years of hire.
- Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital setting.
- Experience with Float Pool and/or Resource teams in healthcare settings.
- Current Wisconsin RN or compact nursing licensure.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Physical Demands
- Ability to move freely and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens during job duties.
Work Environment
- Frequent exposure to sharp objects and instruments.
- Possible exposure to various hazards including toxic chemicals and high noise levels.
- Regular use of computers throughout the workday.
