Registered Nurse - Float Pool 3

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool 3 team at ThedaCare. As a Float Pool Clinical Nurse, you will provide specialized, evidence-based nursing care across the continuum through an interprofessional approach. Your role will involve delivering compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice, promoting a culture of innovation, and contributing to high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

• Utilize the nursing process and evidence-based practice to assess patient needs and collaborate on care plans.
• Demonstrate expertise in clinical specialty and perform all functions of a professional clinical nurse.
• Identify opportunities to improve care processes, lower costs, and enhance patient satisfaction.
• Maintain positive relationships with physicians and team members to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) or commitment to obtain within five years of hire.
• Two years of acute care hospital experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience with Float Pool and/or Resource teams in healthcare settings.
• Current Wisconsin RN or compact nursing licensure.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move freely and lift up to fifty pounds without assistance.
• Possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other occupational hazards.
