Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse I to join our Adult Outpatient Psych team at Sinai Hospital. As a staff nurse, you will be responsible for providing evaluation, medication administration, patient education, and group intervention services to adult and geriatric patients enrolled in the Outpatient Behavioral Clinic.
Responsibilities
- Participate in program-based and behavioral health quality improvement activities.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to supervise staff and ensure patient care.
- Administer psychotropic medications and provide patient education.
- Utilize EMR system, with experience in Cerner preferred.
Requirements
- Current/Valid RN License in the State of Maryland or Compact License.
- Minimum of 1 year Inpatient Behavioral Health experience required.
- Current/Valid BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
- ANCC Psychiatric/Mental Health Certification preferred.
