Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse (RN) participates in program-based and/or behavioral health quality improvement activities, predominantly serving adult and geriatric populations. In this role, the RN works within a multidisciplinary team to provide evaluation, staff supervision, medication administration, patient education, and group intervention services to individuals in the Outpatient Behavioral Clinic.
Requirements
- Current/Valid RN License in the State of Maryland or Compact License (meeting residency requirements)
- Minimum of 1 year Inpatient Behavioral Health experience required; OP Behavioral Health experience considered with demonstrated psychotropic medication administration (3+ years preferred)
- Current/Valid BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- Experience with EMR system - Cerner preferred
- ANCC Psychiatric/Mental Health Certification preferred
