Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse I to join our team at LifeBridge Health, specifically in the Adult Outpatient Psych department at Sinai Hospital. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing evaluation, medication administration, patient education, and group intervention services to adult and geriatric individuals enrolled in the Outpatient Behavioral Clinic. This position offers the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team focused on quality improvement activities in behavioral health.
Responsibilities
- Participate in program-based quality improvement activities.
- Provide supervision, medication administration, and patient education services.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
- Work with individuals in the Outpatient Behavioral Clinic to address their mental health needs.
Requirements
- Current/Valid RN License in the State of Maryland or Compact License.
- Minimum of 1 year Inpatient Behavioral Health experience; OP Behavioral Health experience is acceptable with demonstrated experience in psychotropic medication administration.
- Current/Valid BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Experience with EMR systems, Cerner experience preferred.
- ANCC Psychiatric/Mental Health Certification is a plus.
