Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Registered Nurse I to join our Adult Outpatient Psych team at Sinai Hospital. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in a multidisciplinary team, providing evaluation, staff supervision, medication administration, patient education, and group intervention services to adult and geriatric patients in the Outpatient Behavioral Clinic.
Responsibilities
- Participate in quality improvement activities related to program-based and behavioral health.
- Administer psychotropic medications and conduct patient education.
- Supervise staff and ensure excellent patient care.
- Collaborate with the team for comprehensive patient evaluations and interventions.
Requirements
- Active RN License in Maryland or Compact License.
- Minimum of 1 year Inpatient Behavioral Health experience; OP Behavioral Health experience preferred with psychotropic medication administration.
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Experience with EMR system, Cerner familiarity is a plus.
- ANCC Psychiatric/Mental Health Certification preferred.
