Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse I to join our Adult Outpatient Psych team at Sinai Hospital. This full-time position involves working day shifts from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing evaluation, medication administration, patient education, and group intervention services to individuals in the Outpatient Behavioral Clinic.
Responsibilities
- Participate in program-based and behavioral health quality improvement activities.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to supervise staff and provide patient care.
- Administer psychotropic medications and ensure patient safety.
- Utilize EMR system, with preference for experience in Cerner.
Requirements
- Current/Valid RN License in Maryland or Compact License.
- Minimum 1 year of Inpatient Behavioral Health experience required.
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience in OP Behavioral Health preferred.
- ANCC Psychiatric/Mental Health Certification is a plus.
