Job Description
We are looking for a Registered Nurse I to join our Adult Outpatient Psych team at Sinai Hospital. As a staff nurse, you will play a key role in our program-based quality improvement activities and provide essential services to adult and geriatric individuals enrolled in the Outpatient Behavioral Clinic. This position involves evaluation, medication administration, patient education, and group interventions in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Participate in behavioral health quality improvement activities.
- Provide supervision and support in the Outpatient Behavioral Clinic.
- Administer psychotropic medications and ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with a diverse population to deliver high-quality care.
Requirements
- Current and valid RN License in Maryland or Compact License.
- Minimum of 1 year of Inpatient Behavioral Health experience.
- Experience with EMR systems, especially Cerner.
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
- ANCC Psychiatric/Mental Health Certification preferred.
