Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse I to join our team at Sinai Hospital. As a Staff Nurse in the Adult Outpatient Psych department, you will be responsible for providing evaluation, medication administration, patient education, and group intervention services to adult and geriatric patients. This role also involves working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Participate in program-based and behavioral health quality improvement activities.
- Supervise staff and provide necessary support.
- Administer psychotropic medications and monitor patient response.
- Utilize EMR system for accurate record-keeping.
Requirements
- Active RN License in the State of Maryland or Compact License.
- Minimum of 1 year Inpatient Behavioral Health experience; OP Behavioral Health experience preferred.
- Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR system.
- ANCC Psychiatric/Mental Health Certification is a plus.
