Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse I to join our team at Sinai Hospital. As a Staff Nurse in the Adult Outpatient Psych unit, you will play a crucial role in providing evaluation, supervision, medication administration, patient education, and group intervention services to our diverse adult and geriatric population.
Responsibilities
- Participate in program-based and behavioral health quality improvement activities.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
- Administer psychotropic medications and ensure patient safety.
- Utilize electronic medical records system for accurate documentation (Cerner experience preferred).
Requirements
- Current/Valid RN License in the State of Maryland or Compact License.
- Minimum 1 year of Inpatient Behavioral Health experience required.
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Experience in EMR systems, preferably Cerner.
- ANCC Psychiatric/Mental Health Certification is a plus.
