Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse I to join our team at Sinai Hospital. As a Staff Nurse in the Adult Outpatient Psych department, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing evaluation, medication administration, patient education, and group intervention services to adult and geriatric patients. Your role will involve participation in quality improvement activities and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Participate in program-based and behavioral health quality improvement activities.
- Provide supervision to staff and ensure the safe administration of medications.
- Deliver patient education and group intervention services.
- Collaborate with a diverse patient population to promote mental health and well-being.
Requirements
- Current/Valid RN License in the State of Maryland or Compact License.
- Minimum 1 year of Inpatient Behavioral Health experience required.
- Experience with EMR system usage, Cerner preferred.
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
- ANCC Psychiatric/Mental Health Certification preferred.
