Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse I to join our team at Sinai Hospital. As a key member of our Adult Outpatient Psych department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our diverse patient population. Your responsibilities will include participating in quality improvement activities, supervising staff, administering medications, and delivering patient education and intervention services.
Responsibilities
- Participate in program-based and behavioral health quality improvement activities.
- Provide supervision, medication administration, and patient education to adult and geriatric patients.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Current/Valid RN License in the State of Maryland or Compact License.
- Minimum of 1 year Inpatient Behavioral Health experience; OP Behavioral Health experience preferred.
- Current/Valid BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Experience with EMR systems, preferably Cerner.
- ANCC Psychiatric/Mental Health Certification is a plus.
