Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse I to join our Adult Outpatient Psych team at Sinai Hospital. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for participating in quality improvement activities, evaluating patients, providing medication administration, and offering group intervention services. This role involves working with a diverse adult and geriatric population within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Participate in program-based and behavioral health quality improvement activities.
- Evaluate patients and provide supervision and medication administration.
- Deliver patient education and group intervention services.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Current/Valid RN License in the State of Maryland or Compact License.
- Minimum of 1 year Inpatient Behavioral Health experience required.
- Current/Valid BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Experience with an EMR system, Cerner preferred.
- ANCC Psychiatric/Mental Health Certification preferred.
