Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse I to join our Adult Outpatient Psych team at Sinai Hospital. This full-time position offers day shift hours and the opportunity to work with a diverse population of primarily adult and geriatric patients. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, supervising staff, administering medications, providing patient education, and offering group intervention services at the Outpatient Behavioral Clinic.
Responsibilities
- Participate in program-based and behavioral health quality improvement activities.
- Provide supervision, medication administration, and group intervention services.
- Educate patients and ensure quality care in a multidisciplinary setting.
Requirements
- Current/Valid RN License in the State of Maryland or Compact License.
- Minimum of 1 year Inpatient Behavioral Health experience (3+ years preferred).
- Current/Valid BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Experience with EMR system - Cerner preferred.
- ANCC Psychiatric/Mental Health Certification preferred.
