Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Mother/Baby Unit at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. This is a full-time position with a weekend commitment and rotating shifts. As a Staff Nurse in our Mother-Baby unit, you will be responsible for providing safe and age-appropriate care to patients and their families. If you have at least 1 year of experience in M/B, possess a Maryland Registered Nurse License, and hold American Heart Association BLS Certification, we encourage you to apply.
Unit Summary
Our Mother-Baby unit consists of 23 adult beds and 35 full-term nursery beds. We adhere to AWHONN staffing guidelines, ensuring personalized care with three mother-baby couplets per nurse. In addition to routine care, we handle cases of pregnancy complications, postpartum readmissions, and post-operative GYN patients. Our patient rooms are private, fostering family bonding with amenities for a supportive environment.
Job Summary
As an integral part of our patient care team, you will serve as a valuable resource for patients and families, providing high-quality care. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional knowledge, along with a passion for maternal and neonatal health, are ideal for this role. Requirements
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience in M/B. Possession of a Maryland Registered Nurse License and American Heart Association BLS Certification is mandatory.
