Registered Nurse (Outpatient)- Night Shift

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (Outpatient) to join our team at Denver Health. As a vital part of the Denver CARES - Detox department, the Registered Nurse will provide compassionate care and education to patients in an outpatient setting. This position involves collaborating with the healthcare team, implementing evidence-based care plans, and promoting excellence in patient safety and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Implement evidence-based care plans for patients and modify as necessary.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with patients and the healthcare team to establish measurable goals and strategies for patient care.
• Supervise and educate clinic team members.
• Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses.
• Promote a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• 1-3 years of experience in direct patient care.
• Valid BLS and RN licenses.
• Proficiency in standards of professional nursing practice and medical equipment usage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in emergency situations.
