Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Central Vermont Medical Center's Emergency Department. As an RN in our fast-paced 24-bed unit, you will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages with diverse medical and psychiatric conditions. Our team values continued education and professional development, offering opportunities for certifications and career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Treat patients in a multidisciplinary setting, following best practices.
- Participate in advanced training programs like ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ESI, and AVADE.
- Engage in shared governance councils and contribute to the Clinical Advancement program.
- Work the evening shift from 3pm to 3am.
Requirements
- Valid RN license and at least one year of experience.
- Willingness to pursue certifications like CEN and CPEN.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
