Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network team. You will be part of the new alternative care unit at Shep 3 North, providing care to long-term patients awaiting placement. This role requires strong communication, leadership skills, and experience in charge nurse responsibilities.

Unit Description

The unit environment resembles that of a long-term care facility, catering to patients with various diagnoses. Candidates with long-term care experience and the ability to oversee LPNs and LNAs are preferred.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience in charge nurse roles.
• Background in long-term care is advantageous.
