Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Medical ICU RN, you will be an essential part of an interdisciplinary team focused on evidence-based practice and the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Unit Description

• Work in a 21-bed medical/cardiac intensive care unit with complex and critically ill patients.
• Participate in quality initiatives, research projects, and professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to ensure excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing plan of care.
• Function as an essential member of nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
• Offer patient care, education, and discharge preparation.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
• BSN required for all new external RN hires or promotions.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a specific clinical area.
