Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - Ortho Trauma Unit

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Acute Care - Ortho Trauma Unit at Denver Health. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to healthcare consumers, applying critical thinking and evidence-based practices to promote excellence in patient safety and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess individual, family, and community needs to identify health or safety issues.
• Maintain accurate patient records and monitor vital signs and symptoms.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient responses and conditions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care.
• Instruct patients and families on health education and aftercare.
• Administer nursing care, medication, and promote positive patient experiences.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Less than 1 year of experience, one year preferred.
• Valid BLS/CPR and RN licenses.
• Proficiency in professional nursing practices and medical equipment use.
• Strong communication skills and ability to react effectively in emergencies.
