Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at ChristianaCare HomeHealth for an in-person event on 5/13. As a Field Nurse specializing in home care, you will play a vital role in providing skilled nursing care to geriatric patients in the Newark, DE, and surrounding area, ensuring patient-centered treatment and coordination of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care and prescribed treatment to geriatric patients in the community.
- Develop and implement goal-oriented care plans that are patient-centered and consistent with available resources.
- Prepare patients for discharge by coordinating post-care arrangements.
Requirements
- BSN required; ADN candidates must obtain their BSN within three years of employment.
- Current DE RN license or compact state license.
- Minimum 2 years of recent HomeHealth RN experience.
- Prior experience in Home Healthcare and Med-Surgical settings preferred.
- IV proficiency or willingness to train and perform IV functions.
Work Schedule and Benefits
- Job Types: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time.
- Pay: $32.00 - $44.00 per hour.
- Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week.
