Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Home Care team at ChristianaCare. As an RN Field Nurse, you will provide skilled nursing care and treatment to geriatric patients in the community. This full-time position will require working day shift hours, one weekend a month, 2 holidays a year, and two on-call shifts monthly. Join us in supporting the Newark, DE area with your expertise in HomeHealth and Med-Surgical practices.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer skilled nursing care and treatments to geriatric patients in the community.
- Develop patient-centered care plans and discharge strategies.
- Ensure IV proficiency and follow comprehensive care protocols for patient well-being.
Requirements
- BSN required; ADN candidates must obtain BSN within three years of hire.
- DE RN license or compact state license.
- Minimum 2 years of recent HomeHealth RN experience.
- Prior experience in Home Healthcare and Med-Surgical settings is preferred.
- IV proficiency or willingness to undergo training.
