Job Description
ChristianaCare HomeHealth is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to support the Newark, DE and surrounding area. The successful candidate will provide skilled nursing care and prescribed treatment to geriatric patients in the community. This role requires IV proficiency, and training will be provided upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Give skilled nursing care and prescribed treatment to geriatric patients in the community.
- Must be IV proficient, with the expectation of proficiency within 90 days of hire.
- Develop and implement patient care plans that are goal-oriented and patient-centered.
- Create discharge plans for patients.
Requirements
- BSN required; ADN candidates must obtain their BSN within three years of their start date.
- Must possess a current DE RN license or compact state license.
- 2 years of HomeHealth RN experience within the last 12 months.
- Prior experience in Home Healthcare and Med-Surgical settings is preferred.
- IV proficiency or willingness to be trained in IV functions.
