Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN)-Float, Nights to join our dedicated team at Denver Health. As a Float Nurse, you will provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients across various in-patient areas and the Emergency Department, following the American Nurses Association standards of nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess individual, family, and community health needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
• Monitor and report patient symptoms and vital signs.
• Develop and adjust patient care plans based on responses and conditions.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for patient care planning.
• Instruct patients and families on health education and disease prevention.
• Administer nursing care and medication to patients.
• Promote a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• Post High School Diploma or Certificate Program.
• 1-3 years of direct patient care experience.
• Active RN-Registered Nurse license from the Department of Regulatory Agencies.
• Proficiency in medical equipment usage and patient care administration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
