Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team at Denver Health. As an RN in Labor & Delivery, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to both low and high-risk moms throughout the birthing process. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and identify health or safety issues.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
  • Monitor patient symptoms and vital signs.
  • Modify and develop patient care plans.
  • Prepare and assist with examinations and treatments.
  • Coordinate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Supervise less skilled nursing personnel.
  • Provide education to patients and families on health and aftercare.
  • Administer nursing care and medications.
  • Promote a positive patient experience.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Less than 1 year of experience, with direct patient care preferred.
  • Valid BLS and RN certifications required.
  • Demonstrated adherence to nursing standards and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
