Registered Nurse - RN - Medical Surgical

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at CareerStaff Unlimited in Akron, OH. As an RN in the Medical Surgical unit, you will play a vital role in helping patients with complex medical conditions recover and improve their quality of life.

Pay

$57/Hourly, 36 hours/Week

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive professional image through excellent customer service and public relations.
• Independently manage daily operations with attention to detail.
• Ensure a caring environment that respects patient dignity.
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to individuals with mental health illnesses.
• Lead in medical or psychiatric emergencies, intervening and de-escalating situations.
• Contribute to maintaining regulatory compliance in blood collection and transfusion.
• Work flexible hours including early starts, late shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Promote a friendly environment to encourage donor return visits.

Requirements

• 1+ years of recent nursing experience.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Valid RN license in the state of practice or compact license.
• Healthcare training/experience preferred.
