Job Description
We are recruiting for a Part-time, Nights Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Denver Health. As the Registered Nurse in our Psychiatric Emergency Services department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare to our patients. Essential Functions
- Assess the needs of individuals, families, and communities to identify potential health or safety problems.
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patient's condition and vital signs.
- Modify patient treatment plans based on patient responses and conditions.
- Develop and modify patient care plans as indicated by patient's responses and conditions.
- Prepare patients for and assist with examinations and treatments.
- Consult and coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Direct and supervise less skilled nursing/healthcare personnel.
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
- Medication administration, documentation, and reassessment.
- Promote a positive patient experience.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree Required.
- Less than 1 year of experience, one year in a direct patient care setting preferred.
- BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association Required.
- RN-Registered Nurse - DORA - Department of Regulatory Agencies Required.
