Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network is looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse to join Shep 3 North, our Alternative Care Unit. This unit, opened in March 2024, caters to 18-20 long-term care patients awaiting placement. As a member of this dynamic team, you will provide care to patients with various diagnoses in an environment reminiscent of a long-term care facility. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this role. Charge nurse experience is highly valued for overseeing LPNs and LNAs on the unit, with a preference for candidates with long-term care experience.
Requirements
- Valid RN license.
- Experience in long-term care is an advantage.
