Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Retail Sales Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a welcoming store environment. By collaborating with our team and providing exceptional customer service, you will ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Participate in inventory management and cash handling
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Efficient cash handling and customer service skills
- Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Prior retail experience preferred
