Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated RN (0.9 FTE, 3p-3a) to join our team at ThedaCare Medical Center - Wild Rose. As an RN Clinical Nurse, you will provide specialized, evidence-based care to patients using an interprofessional approach. Your role will involve assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care and positive clinical outcomes. Additionally, you will contribute to creating a professional environment that fosters innovation, growth, and excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize evidence-based practice to assess patient needs and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care and achieve positive clinical outcomes.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in a designated specialty area, ensuring age-appropriate and culturally sensitive care.
- Identify opportunities to enhance patient experience, streamline care processes, and improve quality of care.
- Promote a culture of mentorship, engagement, and professional development among team members.
- Maintain positive relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
- Proactively manage risks and handle life-threatening emergencies effectively.
Qualifications:
- Current Wisconsin RN Licensure.
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) or commitment to obtain within five years.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Additional certifications required based on work area (ACLS, PALS).
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to move freely and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Exposure to blood-borne pathogens and sharp objects.
- Possible exposure to hazardous materials and communicable diseases.
