Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated RN Poison Info Specialist (Uncertified) to join our team at Denver Health. As an RN Poison Information Specialist, you will provide phone consultation and education to consumers and healthcare professionals regarding human and animal exposures to various substances. Your role will involve assessment, recommendations, maintaining quality standards, and providing information to the public.

Responsibilities

• Assessment: conduct thorough assessments of poisoning events, follow poison management procedures, and determine appropriate next steps for patients.
• Recommendations: provide first aid and treatment recommendations, offer support and guidance, and refer cases to specialized professionals as needed.
• Quality: collect demographic information, document notes accurately, and ensure high-quality standards in all interactions.
• PHES: interact with the public, record information accurately, and complete necessary surveys.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in a related field.
• Less than 1 year experience in a medical call center or relevant setting.
• RN-Registered Nurse license from the Department of Regulatory Agencies.
• Strong computer skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work with diverse individuals.
