RN Registered Nurse Outpatient-Surgical Specialty Clinics

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate RN Registered Nurse to join our team at Denver Health, specializing in Outpatient-Surgical Specialty Clinics. As an ambulatory care services (ACS) RN, you will provide patient care and education in an outpatient setting, collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure excellence in patient safety and quality outcomes. This role involves critical thinking, evidence-based practices, and adherence to professional nursing standards to deliver compassionate care to diverse patients.

Responsibilities

• Implement evidence-based care plans and provide patient education.
• Assess patient needs and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Supervise and support other clinic team members for optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and reports.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Diagnose and supervise nursing personnel, promoting a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• 1-3 years of experience in a direct patient care setting.
• Valid RN license and Basic Life Support certification.
• Proficiency in medical equipment use and patient care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; experience with EPIC documentation preferred.
