Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated RN - Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care to join our team at ThedaCare. The RN Clinical Nurse will provide specialized nursing care, collaborating with an inter-professional team to deliver compassionate and safe care, meeting the high-quality standards of ThedaCare. The role involves assessing patient needs, developing care plans, demonstrating clinical expertise, and fostering a culture of innovation and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize evidence-based practice to assess patient needs and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with the inter-professional team to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise in the assigned specialty and provide age-appropriate and culturally sensitive care.
• Identify opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, and enhance patient, family, and team member satisfaction.
• Maintain positive relationships with physicians and team members to improve patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current Wisconsin RN Licensure.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to move freely and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and manual dexterity for patient care procedures.

Work Environment:

• Frequent exposure to sharp objects and instruments.
• Possible exposure to hazardous materials and communicable diseases.
• Standing and/or walking for extended periods.
