Job Description
We are looking for a Sales Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring product availability. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, stocking shelves, and collaborating with team members to enhance the overall shopping experience.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases and maintain cleanliness in the store
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous service
- Operate a cash register and store equipment efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Combination of education and experience considered
