Job Description
Epic Special Education Staffing is looking for dedicated School-Based Speech Therapists to join their team for the 2023-2024 school year. As a Speech Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students, make a real impact in special education, and contribute to the growth and development of children with communication needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Assess students' communication skills and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' speech and language goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Requirements
- 1 year of professional experience as a Speech Therapist.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or certification.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a school-based setting.
- Passion for helping children succeed and overcome communication challenges.
