School Culture Fellow (IMMEDIATE OPENING)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated School Culture Fellow to join Match Education in Boston. The School Culture Fellow will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment for students at Match High School. Responsibilities include building relationships, promoting high academic and behavioral standards, organizing events, implementing restorative practices, and supporting student groups.

Responsibilities

• Build effective relationships with teachers, parents, & the community to improve school culture.
• Create and sustain a safe, positive, and equity-driven culture of high academic and behavioral standards.
• Plan, collaborate, and lead meaningful student & school-wide celebrations & events.
• Use restorative practices & audit historical disciplinary expectations to center equity & student experience.
• Facilitate student groups and interventions.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to the mission and vision of Match.
• 1-2 years of previous educational experience in an urban setting, preferably in a charter school setting.
• Ability to create strong relationships with students while maintaining high standards.
• Belief in the success of every student and a track record of working with students in urban settings.
• Collaborative problem-solving skills and a desire for continuous improvement.
